Outset 2012-15

Business support

Following the success of the first Intensive Start Up Support programme, known as Outset Cornwall, a further three-year programme will run until 2015, supporting individuals who would like to start their own business.

The purpose of the project is to engage people across the project location and provide information and a range of intensive support services to enable them to start up a business or become self-employed, and to deliver at least 12 hours post-start support and other activities to help increase their sustainability.

This will increase the numbers of start-up businesses and new jobs across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, especially from under-represented enterprise groups, and those living in more deprived areas.
