New study to probe the benefits of our coast

1 August 2013. A new study based in Truro is investigating the positive effects the beach can have on both our physical and mental health.

New business park and junction for Threemilestone, Truro

20 July 2013. Grant funding from the Convergence Programme has been awarded to an employment space and infrastructure project on the Threemilestone Industrial Estate, Truro. Walker Threemilestone Ltd has been awarded some £3m from the European Regional Development Fund for the Walker Business Park project.

New site launched to help Cornish businesses

18 July 2013. A new prototype website launched by a team at the University of Exeter Medical School is providing Cornish businesses with information that will help support their management and development.

Cornwall innovation centres ranked among best in the world

16July 2013. Business incubation facilities run by Plymouth University in Cornwall and Plymouth have been independently ranked as among the best in the world.

Truro cycle and pedestrian link officially opens

4 July 2013. A NEW cycle and pedestrian route linking west Truro with the city centre has been officially opened.

15 August 2013. The first milestone in the Superfast Business Cornwall service was reached when the inaugural Expert Panel was held in June at the Pool Innovation Centre.

150th anniversary of the Falmouth railway line
16 August 2013. From Monday 19 August to Saturday 7 September come visit #FalmouthOnTrack: How the Railway Changed the Town, exhibiting in the Main Gallery. An exhibition of photographs and memorabilia from the RCPS history collection and friends to mark the 150th anniversary of the Falmouth railway line.
